Applied Consumer Services, Inc. will conduct a 20 year patent search using the local
U.S. Federal Patent Depository, or Internet sources, and obtain copies of any U.S.
patents which are similar or related to your concept. Our fee for patent searches
starts at $500.00.

Patent Disclosure
Applied Consumer Services, Inc. will write a broad description of your concept,
including the range of chemical components and/or physical aspects and send the
disclosure to the U.S. Patent Office to obtain a starting date and disclosure number.
We will sign a confidentiality agreement. Your disclosure will then be active for two
years, unless the invention is commercialized. Our fee to write the disclosure is
$400.00. The U.S. Patent Fee is $10.00.

Patent Application
When we have the patent disclosure number and copies of related patents, we will
write up a full description with claims and refer to prior art and patents. We will
suggest improvements or other applications to make a stronger patent which will be
in effect 20 years. If needed and authorized, we will run laboratory tests to improve
the product. Our fee to write the application is generally $1500.00 for a
non-provisional patent. In addition, the U.S. Patent fee for a non-provisional patent
with a small entity status is usually $390.00. Mechanical devices always require
drawings which cost an additional $400.00 to $600.00
